We've had a fairly busy summer tucked away in a little studio in North West London finishing our first album. Ben in the band has taken over the role of producer, which has been ace as we've had plenty of time to try lots of things out and look at songs in all sorts of ways. It's odds and ends now, mixing and mastering; then Bob's your Monkhouse.

We've also started working towards the release of our next EP, My Crooked Saint, which will be out on October 17th, the title track being Bloody Shirt. We've had four videos made by Jack King, one for each song, which are all set on the same estate in one day and link together, so a narrative runs throughout all of them. They look bloomin' great and we're very proud. Ralph in the band worked with Jack so the story told in the songs correlates with the video narratives. As part of the EP promotion we're doing a series of dates around the country, most of which are supporting Wakey, Wakey an American band, and you can see the dates below.

So that's us really. We can't wait to get out now and start playing live again and seeing how the new stuff goes down. Peace out Saffron Walden County High, big up Ugley Women's Institute and stay safe Sewards End Town Hall, we're thinking of you.
